Representation and Extension of the Hyper-Pyramidal Numbers through Successive Sum Transformations

This is a paper, presented at the XXXIX CNMAC Congress at Federal University of Uberlandia (Uberlândia, Minas Gerais).

A poster was also presented in conjunction with it, which is reproduced below.

Original Title in Portuguese: Representação e Extensão dos Números Hiperpiramidais Através das Transformadas pela Soma Sucessiva

ABSTRACT:

Figurate numbers represent a widely studied topic, with extensive research exploring them even in arbitrary dimensions. This paper proposes the application of integer sequence transforms to integers, serving not only as an efficient representation method for polygonal, pyramidal, and generalized figurate numbers, but also as a framework for extending and interpreting figurate numbers with negative arguments.
